Dating back to 1556 Drapers Hall is one of the oldest buildings in Shrewsbury and even after four centuries still presents much the same appearance and on several days of the year serves the same function. The interior of the magnificent Hall is still furnished with its seventeenth century furniture and visitors cannot help but be touched by the sense of history that is present.

With its exposed beams, seventeenth century fireplace and wood panelling complemented by its original furniture, Drapers Hall offers a unique setting to experience fine dining, light lunch or after work drink as well as the prefect venue for a private function or wedding reception.

Drapers Hall Restaurant under the ownership of Nigel Huxley has been privileged to have use of the Hall for our unique restaurant since 2000.
